Step 1
Decide how you want to make your collage. Do you want to make it as an image to put on your website directly, or do just want to use a generator to put the individual icons together with a code?
Using a code to put the pictures up may be confusing if you’re unfamiliar with html. Making the collage as a whole image is easier if you’re familiar with Microsoft Paint or any other image creating software. -
Step 2
Pick out which icons you want to use. Go to a website such as Photobucket.com or Iconator.com and search what kind of icons you want to use in your collage.
-
Step 3
If you are using a generator to put the icons together, there are icons to choose from on the code generator itself. If you want to look through those, click on the generator link at the bottom of this article, and click on “Add Icons” once you get to that website. Otherwise, just save the icons you want to use from the other websites. Skip Step 4 and move on to Step 5.
-
Step 4
If you are creating an image of the icons together, pick the first icon you want to use, right click it, and click on “Copy Image”. Open a new image file in Microsoft Paint, or whichever program you use. Paste the image you just copied into your new image, and place it where you want it. Find the next icon you want to use, and do the same with it. Keep copying and pasting the icons into your new image, and once you’re done save the picture and upload it to Photobucket.com. You can then copy the new URL of your icon collage and place it wherever you’d like.
-
Step 5
This step is only if you are using a generator to put the icons together. Go to the Icon Collage Generator link at the bottom of this article. Choose how many rows and columns you want by selecting the number under “Grid”. After this, you can choose the border size (1px is the default size), and the border color. At this point you can either add the icons you’ve saved by clicking “Upload Icons”, or, if you found icons from this generator you want to use after clicking “Add Icons”, just click “Get Image Link” below each icon. Once you’ve added all of your icons, click on “Generate”, and copy the code to wherever you want to put the icon collage.
