Going out to eat everyday for lunch is not economical. A good way to save your money is to bring your own lunch to work or school. Why settle for a tasteless microwaveable dinner that won't fill you up? Learn to pack a healthy, satisfying lunch in just a few easy steps.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Brown Paper Lunch Bag or Reusable Lunch kit or lunch box
  • Non-fat yogurt
  • A piece of your favorite fruit
  • Whole grain bread high in fiber
  • Low fat cheese slices
  • Tortilla chips
  • Low sodium lunch meat
  • Nabisco 100 Calorie Snack Packs
  • Your favorite sandwich condiments
  • Lettuce and Tomatoes
  1. Step 1

Take out a brown paper lunch bag or reusable lunch kit or lunch box. Get ready to pack an amazingly healthy and satisfying lunch!

  2. Step 2

Put in a piece of your favorite fruit. To save money I recommend a banana, apple, or orange. During the summer season you can also pack strawberries, blueberries, or watermelon.

  3. Step 3

Add a container of non-fat yogurt to your lunch. I recommend packing Yoplait. You can't even tell you are eating a non-fat yogurt. It is that good!

  4. Step 4

Take out two slices of whole grain bread. Put on your favorite sandwich condiments. I recommend honey mustard. Add a slice of low fat cheese. On top of the cheese put a few slices of low sodium lunch meat. Add tomatoes and lettuce to your sandwich. Put your sandwich in your lunch.

  5. Step 5

Next, put a handful of tortilla chips into your lunch. Also, for a low calorie dessert add a package of Nabisco 100 Calorie Snack Packs. Try Nutter Butters, Oreos, or Chips Ahoy.

  6. Step 6

You have now made a delicious, healthy, and filling lunch for yourself. Put it in the fridge and be the envy of your office mates/ classmates tomorrow!
