1
Pat regular foundation across the entire eyelid and under-eye area before using any shadow. This primes the lid as a base so the shadow will stick.

3
Look up and blink your eyes before the liner shadow dries to create a mark in the crease of your eyelid. Between this crease and the rest of your eyelid, apply the contouring shadow, which is the second darkest shadow on the palette (usually a dark coppery color).

5
Apply the very lightest color from the palette, usually a creamy, pearly white, around the corners of your eyes to reflect light and make them seem larger.
-
6
Trace over the original liner shadow one more time with the darkest color on the palette, and smudge it with a cotton swab to make a smoky effect.
-
7
Brush off fallen shadow from the under eye area, than curl your eyelashes and coat on dark black mascara.
