Plan a Romantic New Year's Eve
Plan a Romantic New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve is often associated with parties and champagne, but it is very easy to turn a party night into a romantic evening with a lover. No matter if it is a fine restaurant or cruise, there are many options to create a romantic evening.

From Quick Guide: Hotel Reservation Primer
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Time, planning and some money.
  1. Step 1

The first step in a romantic evening is fine dining. Search the area for a five star restaurant and make reservations. The one problem might be reservations this late, but give it a try and work through a list of restaurants in the area.

  2. Step 2

Reserve a hotel room, again go classy. Do a search and reserve a hotel room at an upscale hotel. Avoid the fancy packages, which normally involve large parties with strangers. Romance is about one on one, not groups. Also, stay away from bars, that seems very obvious.

  3. Step 3

New Year's Eve requires some type of romantic gift. This might be a jewelry or flowers, but pick up something that says I love you.

  4. Step 4

During the actual New Year's Eve date, let your lover know that you love them. Say it, smile, hold them, touch them softly. Make it a night that is less about commercial items and more about finding that romantic glance and sensual kiss.

Tips & Warnings
  • Talk about the date and what your partner finds romantic and go from there.
  • If kids are involved make sure a babysitter is secured.
