Cut up your old t-shirts and make all new designs that are sexy and stylish. There are lots of ways to deconstruct your t-shirts, cut them up, and create new fashion statements. Follow these tips to turn your old t-shirts into sexy new clothes.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • old t-shirts
  • scissors
  • needle and thread
  • creativity
  1. Step 1

Make a halter top. First, cut off the t-shirt sleeves. Re-size the width if necessary. Next, cut a line straight across the back, from armpit to armpit. Lastly, cut a line straight up from the middle of the back to the neck. Trim the neck and ties as necessary.

  2. Step 2

Make a peek-a-boo top. Take 2 solid colored tees, one slightly smaller than the other. Cut straight lines across the chest and mid-section of the larger tee. Wear the smaller tee under the larger tee, so the smaller tee will peek through.

  3. Step 3

Make an 80's off-the-shoulder top. Cut off the t-shirt sleeves. Cut about 4 inches off the bottom of the t-shirt in a single strip. Re-size the t-shirt width if necessary. Hem the rough edge of the strip you cut off the bottom. Sew the strip to the top of the shirt, upside down (to hide the ugly seam). Sew all the way around, but be sure to leave arm holes. Wear with the strip falling off your shoulders.

Tips & Warnings
  • Less is more. Start by cutting off less fabric. You can always trim more fabric off later, but you can't glue it back on.
