New Years' Eve is another great occasion to spend it eating, usually Christmas will be spend with family and New Years with friends and this celebration can be enjoyed at either at a restaurant, hotel or a club.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    For starters you will have small sandwiches or smoked salmon with cheese

  2. Step 2

    For the first entree' you will have lasagna, cannelloni's or another type of pasta such as pesto or pasta with salmon. Sometimes you will have 2 pasta dishes served.

  3. Step 3

    For the second entree's you will have lamb served with mushrooms or peas, or even pork chops.

  4. Step 4

    For dessert you will still have dried fruits, panettone, pandoro's and torrone's but you can also find tiramisu

  5. Step 5

    At midnight you will enter the New Year with a Champagne toast and eat the good luck food for the new year which are lentils and zampone which is an Italian type of sausage which has a creamy texture and is a little sweet and a little spicy. These foods should bring prosperity for the New Year.
