Things You'll Need:
- 2 Cups Fresh Cranberries
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Walnuts - Chopped
- 1 Cup Flour
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 3/4 Cup Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tsp Almond Extract
- Deep dish pie pan

Step 1
Make the Cranberry Topping: Mix 2 cups fresh cranberries (chopped) 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup walnuts (chopped) - mix well and spread on the bottom of a VERY WELL greased pie pan.

Step 2
Make the cake: Combine 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 3/4 cup butter (melted), 2 eggs, 2 tsp almond extract. Mix well spread over the cranberry mixture that has been spread in the bottom of the pie pan. So the layers will be cranberry mixture on the bottom, and then the cake mixture poured on top.

Step 3
Bake in the middle rack at 325 degrees for 50 - 60 minutes. When a tooth pick can be stuck in the middle and removed clean...Its Done! Remove from the oven and place a flat plate or serving plate on top of the pie pan, immediately flip and invert the cake. Hopefully you greased the pan well and you are staring at a beautiful topping of chopped cranberries which is now the top of the cake!
