Things You'll Need:
- credit card
- cash
- computer
- grocery store
- sam's club
-
Step 1
not just for groceries anymoreDid you know you can purchase books of postage stamps at the grocery store? YES! Sometimes right at the check-out counter along with your other groceries; other times you have to go to the customer service desk. Oftentimes, there is a nominal fee for purchasing a book of stamps; mine charges 50 cents.
-
Step 2
easiest on lineOrder online. Go to www.USPS.com for delivery right to your home/office. Take your time in selecting the types of stamps you need, give your credit card number, and within days, the stamps will be sent directly to you! There is a one-dollar service fee for this transaction; but it beats waiting on line!
-
Step 3
The next time you are buying in bulk out at Sam's Club, pick up a roll or book of stamps too! Yes, they have them here too. No surcharge either!
-
Step 4
Some malls have Philatelic centers, as do some of the larger post offices, which do passports and sell mail-related products, including stamps. It is faster than the regular post-office line, but it can get backed up if there are a lot of passports being made.

on 6/26/2009 I buy them on eBay and save money and time. The only bad thing is you have to wait for them to come. You also can go to stamps.com and print them out with a free trial. 5*

on 6/7/2009 Fortunately for me, there is a postal annex in the drugstore around the corner from me, but I have bought them online, and you can get a photo saved from your computer put on them for a fee. I had my son's prom picture saved
