Spicy crunchy cookie

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3/4 cup Grease
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Molasses
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cloves
  1. Step 1

    If there was a list of America's favorite cookies, then gingersnaps would surely be on it. This highly addictive, sugar coated cookie gets its chewy texture and spicy flavor from adding brown sugar, molasses, and spices to the batter.
    It's a Delicious & crisp cookie. These cookies make a charming Christmas tradition and Santa loves them, too. These ginger cookies are wonderful treats for Thanksgiving and for Christmas as delightful snacks, home-baked gifts, or party goodies. These delicious cookies are perfect with dunking in morning coffee, or after school with milk.

  2. Step 2

    Gather the ingredients you will need.
    Preheat oven 375 degrees.

    Combine in small bowl Grease,Brown Sugar,Molasses and Egg till mixture is light and fluffy.
    Stir together the dry ingredients , blend it into the Molasses mixture.
    Form into small balls.
    Roll the balls into granulated sugar.
    On a greased cookie sheet, place them 2 inches apart.
    Place in preheated 375 degree oven.
    Cook for about 10 minutes.
    Remove from pan.
