*Other snacks and candy like cookies, brownies, popcorn, chocolate, chips, gummy bears
*A phone card to call home if is in another state or far away
*Bed sheets and/or a comforter
*School supplies like pens, pencil, paper, notebooks, folders, calculator and a dictionary
*Money or gift cards are always a welcome gift for a broke college student -
Step 3
After purchasing the items you wish to include in the survival kit, then put it all together in your chosen basket or box and decorate it with bows/ribbons/flowers or a personal note.
-
Step 4
Before the student leaves for college, give them your gift of a student survival kit. They will appreciate the gesture and will make use of all the stuff in the survival kit.
