How to Wrap Presents Unconventionally
It's better to give than to receive. That statement is often questioned by the disgruntled gift wrapper. If you are frustrated with purchasing wrapping paper at top dollar in addition to the present that you bought, consider wrapping presents in a whole new way!

1
Wrap the present with another present. Get something cool like a scarf or a sweater in the recepient's favorite color. Put the main present within the cloth and pull up the secondary present around it. Tie a cloth ribbon around the gift.
-
2
Place the present in a box from the grocery store. If you ask politely, stockers will usually let you take whatever boxes you desire. By getting a box that features something really outrageous that nobody wants, your gift is sure to stand out. Imagine the surprise when the recipient opens the strange box to see your wonderful present.

3
Wrap a small present in construction paper. You can easily use the recipient's favorite color, and--with a bow--it looks every bit as festive and nice as a present in wrapping paper.
-
4
Use ironic gift bags. Save any gift bags that you receive through the year. Recycle them for laughs at Christmas. A "Happy Father's Day" bag given to your nephew will bring lots of laughs.
-
5
Make a collage of photos of the recipient's favorite actor, sports team or hobby, then proceed to use it as wrapping paper. The recipient will be completely thrilled as the absolute thoughtfulness and time put into the present.
