Does your child mail off their wish list letter to Santa every year? Do they ever write a thank you letter? How about hand delivering a thank you letter to Santa this year. I am sure Santa would appreciate the gratitude among all the wishes. Here is some tips for a fun project for you and your children.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • paper
  • crayons
  • pencil
  • envilope
  1. Step 1

Have your child choose a light colored piece of construction paper. Have them write a thank you note at the top of the page (it is ok for them to dictate a letter to you if they do not know how to write yet).

  2. Step 2

Give them some crayons and stand back. Let the creative juices flow. It is ok if it's not recognizable to you (or anyone for that matter lol). The point of this project is for your child to have something special all their own to give to Santa. The picture should be anything their heart desires to draw. It doesn't even have to be Christmasy.

  3. Step 3

When Your child is done coloring, give them the envelope (either regular letter or a big envelope so you don't have to fold the masterpiece) and have them decorate that as well.

  4. Step 4

Seal the letter inside the envelope and bring it with you when you go see Santa. It will be a visit to remember.
