Make Money Blogging--Sell Advertising

So--You have your Blog, and you have spent a considerable time building it. You have a decent amount of Traffic, and enjoy sharing your views, product, or maybe just your passions. Given the amount of time you spend updating your Blog with new and fresh content---why not make a "Buck or Two" while your Blogging? There are countless opinions on the best way to monetize your Blog. Here's my 2 cents, and it has worked for me.

Step 1

Google Adsense: Who (That has spent any time on the Net) has not seen a Google Adsense ad? Google offers numerous widgets and text ads to place on your Blog. The ads they place will be relevent to your content. Simple to do--Join--Pick the Style of ad you wish to display, and your on your way,
Adbrite.com; Very similar to Google, and you do have the option of approving or rejecting ads---paid monthly.
Step 2

ProjectWonderful.com: Simply place an ad box (Widget) on your Blog. Potential Advertisers bid on your spot. You have the ability to decided whether to run the ad or not.

Text-Link-Ads.com; You can Sell Text Ads relevent to your Blog, and have control over the advertising. The cost of running the ad is set by Textlink. They take into consideration your content, traffic and other items related to your site.
Step 3

Create Your Own: Now this is my favorite, and has produced well for me. Create your own 125 x 125 widget, this widget should read "Place your ad Here". Create a Sales Page that is linked to your Widget. On your sales page explain your fee, duration, and method of payment. Give them a method to purchase your ad space (Buy Now Button). I use Paypal, However Payloadz.com has a great Program also.
