How to Make Apple and Rosemary Stuffing

if u like your stuffing with chicken, turkey or even ham this makes and nice change to sage and onion or plain meat ones.




feeds 4 to 6

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • onion
  • two apples
  • 4 sausages
  • 6 slices of bread
  • rosemary
  • a lemon
  • nutmeg
  • bowl
  • blender if have one
  • oven proff dish
  1. Step 1

    cut the crusts off the bread.
    it is better that the bread is a few days old

  2. Step 2

    put in blender and blend until they look like fine crumbs. then set it aside

  3. Step 3

    then get your bowl and take the skins off the sausages and put in the bowl

  4. Step 4

    then peel, core and cut the apple into small cubes and add to the meat
    then cut the onion up into cubes and add too

  5. Step 5

    then add the rosemary to the bowl. (i have not added my measurements to this recipe because rosemary is strong and people might want to use less than i do but i use two to three tsp)
    then add one tsp of nutmeg

  6. Step 6

    then zest a lemon and add the zest to the bowl

  7. Step 7

    and then take the juice of that lemon and add that too.

  8. Step 8

    add the bread crumbs a bit at a time as you don't want big bits of bread in it. mix with your hands until it is a soft but firm ball

  9. Step 9

    put in the oven dish and spread out

  10. Step 10

    then cook for 20min gas 5 or 200c.
    leave to rest for 5 min and serve
