The first thing you need to do is figure out who or what organization you are going to help. There are many ways to do this, you can contact any of your local churches, homeless shelters, Citizens against domestic violence, Child advocacy center, orphanages, or any other organizations or individuals that might need help.

When you figure out who it your going to help out, find out what there exact needs are. They may need basic necessities, such as soap, shampoo,
laundry soap, or toothpaste. Most could probably use some extra food. Some good choices would be soup, boxed dinners, noodles, canned meats and canned vegetables. Some will need clothing, shoes, under garments and coats for the winter. Some may need help buying gifts for their small children. For this, you could buy the actual gifts, or give them a gift card so they could purchase the gifts themselves. -
-
3
Now you will need to gather these items. You could have a drive at your place of employment and have people sign up for what they would like to give. You could also purchase these things yourself.
-
4
Once you have all your items together, organize them and make a time to
deliver them.

gift cards are better I think to give as gifts because if the clothes dont fit or the toy is not age apporiate than the kid misses out. Thanks for sharing -
