Santa's Delight Soup

Looking for a great addition to the card you'll be giving your coworkers this year. Santa's Delight Soup is a cute addition to any present or card to spread some Holiday cheer without straining your pocketbook.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • four chocolate kisses
  • four chocolate hugs
  • two candy canes
  • two packages of instant hot cocoa mix
  • ziploc bag
  1. Step 1

Gather your supplies. For each soup mix you will need one set of each named ingredient. Lay out the ingredients on a work surface. Ingredients needed are: four chocolate kisses; four chocolate hugs; two candy canes; two individual packages of instant hot cocoa mix; and a zipper seal bag.

  2. Step 2

Prepare and type up your wording to accompany the "soup" ingredients. Personalize the note by addressing to the person who will receive the treat. Begin by stating an understanding of the person's inclusion on Santa's nice list. Follow by stating with the cold weather approaching fast, the need for warm spirits is now. State Santa has requested of you to share the secret soup recipe with this individual. Let them know to enjoy fully the soup must be mixed with hot water and mixed with the special stir stick included. Make sure to tell them to sip it slow. Let the individual know the trick is in adding some hugs and kisses to sweeten the day. Don't forget to wish them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

  3. Step 3

Place your note and the ingredients in a plastic bag which seals. Distribute with smiles and well wishes of good cheer.

Tips & Warnings
  • Attach soup mix with invitation to a Christmas Party to increase the expectation for fun.
  • Fun gift addition for your mail carrier or other customer service employees you encounter.
  • To give as a gift: enclose ingredients in a Christmas themed mug.
  • Caution: Soup will be hot. Use discretion when enjoying.

on 12/23/2008 I went to the store like I said in my prior post. I made sets for friends. I used mugs to hold the ingredients and put them in gift bags. I hand wrote the notes to make them more personal. They were a big hit.
