How to Enter Your Child Into a Baby Photo Contest

Everyone thinks they have the cutest baby. Unfortunately everyone is wrong, except you, of course. So how do you let the world see how adorable your little creation is, while possibly making a little coin on the side? Enter your child into a baby photo contest! There are free baby photo contests, and there are ones that require a fee or membership. You can find links to some popular baby photo contests farther down the page.

Instructions

1. Pick the cutest photo of your baby that you can find, or take some pictures just for the contest. The photo shouldn't be professionally done, and it shouldn't look too staged. Your baby should look like a natural, happy baby.

2. Upload your photos to your computer if the contest you want to enter allows online submissions. Otherwise, you can have prints made. If you're sending your baby photo contest pictures through the mail, make sure you know what size prints they will accept.

3. Read the rules and sign up for the contest, making sure you fill out all the registration information correctly.

4. Send in your photos or upload them to the contest's web site, and wait for the results to be announced.

Tips & Warnings

• If you enter a baby photo contest that allows public voting, make sure you tell all your friends and family to log on and vote.
• The number of entries, length of the contest, and entry fee affect how large the prize payout will be. The higher the fee, the higher the prizes are, usually.
• Make sure you submit your photos within the time frame allowed, or you may not be eligible.
