Our professional team of publishing professionals are available every step of the way to guide you through the process on how to publish your book.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First, choose a publishing package that caters to the kind of book you are working on. Black and White Publishing packages mostly for text that has 48-700 pages. Book cover may be in full color or black and white. Full color publishing Packages are for books with illustrations which authors wanted to be published in full color. A Publishing Consultant will be available to help you customize the package you require for your book.

  2. Step 2

Second, a BOOK ID for reference purposes will be given to you after initial payment. Only when a payment has been made can we retrieve your Book ID as it is computer generated.

  3. Step 3

Third, a submissions rep will call you for the completion of your materials needed for production. He will be giving you instructions and will be guiding you on what to do. S/he will evaluate your manuscript to check if it is ready for publishing. If the Submissions Representative sees lacking materials or feels the need for you to complete other services such as Copyediting, Image Enhancements, and so on, s/he will inform you. You have the option to purchase add-on services from Xlibris to polish your work or you can do it yourself.

  4. Step 4

Fourth, After your materials have been completed, it will be sent to the author services representative for production. He will be the one in charge for the layout of your book. And will be the one who's going to transform your manuscript into a book form. Once the layout is finished, an electronic galley (proof) is sent to you for you to check and review. Should you require changes, corrections, adjustments and revisions on the layout we will accommodate those at this stage. We will not proceed to the next stage unless you approve the galley.

  5. Step 5

Lastly, Once the galley is approved we will then move to the next stage which is the author review copy stage. We will send you a printed copy of your book, the actual book. It is for you to check and review the quality of the product: the quality of the printing, binding, and paper used. we can already start marketing your book and make it available online through Google Book Search, Amazon.com, Barnes&Noble.com, Borders.com and 200 other online resellers.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make certain you have checked all corrections so that you wouldn't have to send your manuscript back for another round of editing. Not only it will cost you more if it is not included in the program but also will delay production.
  • Establish a relationship with your representatives so that you will get your book's vision across.
  • Make yourself be available at all times so that when there are last minute reminders that your representatives might need to talk to you about, it will immediately be addressed to you.
