It's the time of year again when baking just seems to soothe the soul. The only problem is this is one of the busiest seasons as well. The holidays are here and between shopping, going to holiday parties, and traveling, it is hard to find a lot of time to bake. The following recipe will help with the time crunch and is guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth too!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 4 cups of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of Hershey's Cocoa
  • 1 & 1/2 cups of peanut butter
  • 2 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 4 cups Quick Quaker Oats
  1. Step 1

Melt the butter in a large pan (4 quart will work).

  2. Step 2

Add the milk, sugar, and cocoa to the butter and mix well. Bring this mixture to a rolling boil and cook for two minutes.

  3. Step 3

Take the mixture off of the stove and add the peanut butter. Mix well until the peanut butter is melted.

  4. Step 4

Add the vanilla extract and the Quick Quaker Oats. Mix well.

  5. Step 5

Pour the mixture into a 9"X13" pan and let cool. Cut into squares and enjoy!
