How to connect to wifi with an iPhone

Own an iPhone and want to connect to a wifi network, connecting to an open network is easy. I will show you some tips to help you connect to a secure network.

Things You'll Need

• WEP or WPA keys for your secure network

Instructions

1. On your iPhone, navigate to Settings > Wi-Fi

2. Select the network you wish to connect with and clicked "Forget this Network" to start from scratch

3. Navigate back to the main Wi-Fi menu

4. Select "Other..." to manually enter in my network name and password information

5. After manually entering the network name and password information,WEP or WPA keys you may be able to successfully connect.

6. You might need to restart your router to renew your iPhone IP address. I usually start by turning off everything, turn on your cable or DSL modem first, turn on your wireless router next. Wait until all the lights quit blinking and settle down then retry your iPhone to see if it is now connected.

• You will need a decent signal to get wifi to work properly on your iPhone
