How to Reset an Ipod Shuffle

iPod Shuffle frozen? Don't know how to unfreeze it? Here a few simple steps to unlock it!! :-)

Difficulty: Easy

Instructions

1. If your iPod Shuffle is connected to your computer, now would be a good time to disconnect it.

2. 
    

   Turn your iPod Shuffle off now by moving the switch to the "off" position. On the 1st generation iPod Shuffle, the green stripe should NOT be visible.

3. 
    

   Wait 5 seconds before turning back on.

4. 
    

   Turn your iPod Shuffle back on by placing in the "Play" or "Shuffle" mode. On the 1st generation iPod Shuffle, the green strip should be visible in either position.

5. Your iPod Shuffle is now reset. If you are going to be connecting your iPod Shuffle after resetting, please be sure to turn your iPod Shuffle off. If you were following troubleshooting steps, continue on with those steps now. If you continue to have issues, consult your iPod Shuffle Users Manual or visit http://support.apple.com
