Cynthia Pearson rushed to her Brooklyn, NY apartment window as she watched the first snow flake fall on her window. She loved this time of year. It gave her a reason to make her famous ice-cream with the main and most important ingredient snow.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Snow
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Cream or Milk
  • A cup
  • Spoon
  1. Step 1

It is a tradition to make Snow Ice-Cream with the first snow of the year because it is the freshest snow of the year. But that information has just been pass down from generation to generation in my family. In other words, it doesn't really matter just ask long as it is snow and not flurries.

  2. Step 2

If the ice-cream is just for you place a cup outside of your window or outside of your steps if you live in a house and wait till the cup is half full. Or, just dump clean snow in a cup and come back inside.

  3. Step 3

Add 1 teaspoon of Vanilla extract to the snow in your cup.

  4. Step 4

Next, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk or cream. The cream can be any flavor, I prefer French vanilla.

  5. Step 5

Now, grab a spoon and dig in. Now who said snow doesn't have flavor?

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure that each ingredient is cold so that it doesn't melt the snow right away.
  • You can have a huge bowl outside and fill it with snow so that you can make multiple ice-cream for your friends and family.
