The purpose of this How To article is to explain how easy it is to Restore your new or old Laminate Floors and make them shiny and beautiful and easy to maintain.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • LamanatorPlus Laminate/Hardwood Kit
  • DVD Player and TV to watch their instructional video
  • About 3 hours or so...
  1. Step 1
    LamanatorPlus Kit

    LamanatorPlus Kit

Make certain to watch the very thorough Instructional DVD provided in your LamanatorPlus kit. Then thoroughly sweep your floor that you are restoring. I recommend a micro fiber dry-mop.

  2. Step 2
    LamanatorPlus Deep Scrub

    LamanatorPlus Deep Scrub

Apply the LamanatorPlus Deep Scrub by misting it onto the floor, about 50 square feet at a time, spread it around with one of the micro fiber mops that are included in their kit, let it sit for 3 minutes to begin to soften any other products or grime that was put on your floor by you or before you. Then use their agitating pad/mop to scrub the area well. Then rinse this area thoroughly as to get up all grime/old waxes, etc. Repeat each 50 square feet as needed until entire floor is completely Deep Scrubbed and rinsed well. TIP: Do not use a bucket to rinse your micro fiber mop head, use a sink to rinse and all the LamanatorPlus products are 100% biodegradable/green.

  3. Step 3
    LamanatorPlus Restoration

    LamanatorPlus Restoration

Apply the LamanatorPlus Restoration by misting it on the floor, again, about 50 square feet at a time, and spread it evenly with the other clean micro fiber mop they provide in the kit. (Do not use the microfiber mop that you used to rinse the Deep Scrub with.) Also mist some of the product onto the clean microfiber mop head when you begin.
Continue this process until floor is completely covered, working your way backwards from the farthest point away from the entry of the room. Wait 30 minutes or so to dry, then re-apply your second coat following the same instructions as before. In about 1 hour, you may walk on the floor and in about 3 hours you may replace your furniture.

Tips & Warnings
  • Rinse well in Step One after agitating the Deep Scrub and removing all grime and old waxes, etc..
  • Always use your sink to rinse the micro fiber mop out that you are using to rinse the Deep Scrub, so as not to re-infect it with product.
  • Do not use fans to speed up drying time between coats of Restoration.
  • Make certain the 1st coat of Restoration is dry before applying second coat.
  • Always use felt pads on the furniture legs before replacing it.
  • As with any products, please read the labels for hazards or warnings about this product.
  • There is no way you can ruin your floors with it. And if you don't like your floors when done, the Deep Scrub will remove the Restoration.
  • These products are 100% biodegradable.
