Donating to charities can be a very rewarding experience and it's quite simple too! Donate today!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The first thing you will want to do is pick out a charity or cause to donate to. The list of charities one can donate to is endless, but do your research first to find the perfect cause. Starting online is a good tool. Most people will choose a charity that deeply affects them on a personal level. Choose something to your liking.

  2. Step 2

Determine what types of things you can donate to this particular charity. Some organizations do not accept food or clothing, but instead wish to be paid proceeds. You'll want to know what you can donate exactly.

  3. Step 3

If it's money you will be donating, determine a set amount of money you'd like to see go into the charity. Then determine a plan for how often you'd like to donate. Save and plan!

  4. Step 4

If it's food or clothing you'd like to donate, you can find many establishments that will take it in. Find your nearest shelter or church. Most churches will take in these items. You don't have to be a member of the church to donate. Starting at the yellow pages is the best way to find shelters and churches to donate items to.

  5. Step 5

Get others involved! Getting your friends involved with donations is one of the best parts of donating. Getting more people involved will not only be fun, but very rewarding!

Tips & Warnings
  • Using the internet can be a very good starting point.
