Things You'll Need:
- 12 oz bag of semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 tbps honey
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp poppy seeds
- ~~~~
- circular cutting shapes
- foil
- waxed paper
- circle stickers or glet stickers
-
Step 1
Spread the waxed paper over a flat surface. In a saucepan, melt the chocolate, butter, milk, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth, and add the seeds.
-
Step 2
While the mixture is still liquid, pour a layer over the waxed paper (about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch thick) and let it cool in the fridge until it is firm, but just soft enough to cut out circles. For each circle you cut out, you want to use a square of foil that is 2 1/2 times the diameter of the circle. For example, if you cut out a 2 inch diameter circle, wrap it with a 5 inch square piece of foil. Use a sticker to seal the wrapper.
-
Step 3
You will have left over chocolate from cutting out the circles. If you don't want to put it to waste, remelt it and repeat step 2.
-
Step 4
Store all the wrapped candies in the fridge since they contain dairy. If you want, you can make gelt bags for your guests and family.

on 12/17/2008 I never thought of making it myself, and this year I just moved and haven't seen it anywhere and haven't had a chance to shop for it...what a nifty idea!!
