Remember the Reason for the Season

Shopping, baking cookies, decorating, Christmas parties, cooking...it can all become hectic and stressful. We all become a little busier during the Christmas season. Giving and receiving of presents makes everybody full of joy. Try not to remember the reason for the season.

Step 1

Giving to loved ones and others less fortunate tells people that you care for them. Remember the true reason for the season, it is the most important gift of all. Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior was born on Christmas day.
Step 2

Accept this wonderful gift for it is the best gift you will ever receive. All you have to do is believe Jesus died for your sins and you will be forgiven and go to heaven. (see resources)
Step 3

The Love of God

Tell your children more about the Bible, God, and Jesus. Sharing stories with our children should not be forgotten in this busy world.
Step 4

Wear buttons to fight the War on Christmas, which seems to be getting stronger every year.(see resources) Say Merry Christmas to everybody, Christmas is about Christ and why not share that love and joy.
Step 5

Love everybody the way God loves you, unconditionally. Forgive others the way Jesus forgives you of every sin. Give from the heart, giving shows God thanks for everything he has given you. Try to live a little more like Christ this Christmas season.

on 12/20/2008 Much needed advice these days. The PC world is so full of itself it's not wise enough to truly turn towards Joy, Peace, Good will, and Good tidings. Excellent article.
