Get Around Union Station and Shop

Union Station in Washington, DC is just a great place to hang-out in for shopping and site seeing.

Instructions

Step 1

Shopping: Union Station has some of well known shops located on the 1st and second floor. Stores include Dalton's Bookstore, White House, Footlocker, and tons of specialty shops. Many of the specialty shops are featuring President-Elect Barack Obama memorobilia items.
Step 2

Food: The botton level of Union Station has at least twenty food court vendors to include Johnny Rockets, Pizza, Greek, Indian Cusine, Soul Food, B Smith's, and the list goes on and on. Of course they have your McDonalds, etc.
Step 3

Entertainment: Union Station has a theather. Warning! It is underground, almost looks scary, but looks are deceiving. The seats are comfortable and the theather is clean.
Step 4

Transportation: Amtrak actually goes right inside of Union Station in Washington, DC. You can get off of the train, get something to eat, shop, etc.. Also, Washington, DC has buses and the subway. Just follow the color coded signs in the subway and you can literally travel all over Washington, DC for a small cost.
