Things You'll Need:
- Wii
- Wireless router or LAN adapter

Step 1
From the Wii Menu, click on the Wii Options button in the bottom-left hand corner of the screen.

From the Options Menu click on Wii Settings. It's on the right, you can't miss it.

Click on the right arrow to get to the second page of the Settings menu.

Click on Internet, again you can't miss it. From there go to Connection Settings.

Click on Connection 1, or if it is already used, go to Connection 2 or 3. The Wii can only have three different connections.

Click on either Wireless or Wired Connection depending on what you are planning on using.

Click on "Search for an Access Point" if you are using a wireless router. If you are going to use use the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector you do not need this how-to, just follow the included instructions.

Step 8
After the list of available access points shows, click on the one you want to use. Save the settings. The Wii will automatically do a connection test. After that you will probably be asked to do a system update, say yes.

Step 9
Back out of the Options to go back to the Wii Menu. Enjoy being online with your Nintendo Wii.

on 12/17/2008 I love this. My friend had a wii for about a year before I got mine. I had mine hooked up the day I got it. She said "You can get on the internet?" I thought that was half the point!
