Find the Unique Power Fists in Fallout 3

If Unarmed Combat is the name of your game, you can do no better than the Fisto! and Shocker Power Fists. Both prototypes built before the war, the Fisto! and Shocker are super-powered close combat weapons that can send your enemies (or parts of them) flying. Getting them is easier than you might think.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to the MDPL-13 Power Station. This can be found northwest of Minefield. Bring some Ghoul-hunting weapons with you. The power station is infested with Feral Ghouls and Glowing Ones. Note that you want the plant next to the shack. There is little of value in the power station (though it is worth looting.)

    • 2

Head to the second level. Make sure to loot the rest of the power station; there are lots of items hanging around for the discerning scavenger to take.

    • 3

Look for the Fisto! Power Fist on a desk, next to a computer. The Fisto! Power Fist can be repaired with normal Power Fists, and requires no ammunition. But don't stop now! There is a second unique Power Fist to be had!

    • 4

Go to the Flooded Metro. It is near the Arlington Library.

    • 5

Make your way to the bottom of the tunnels until you find flooded room at the end of a tunnel. There will be a Frag Mine outside the room and a Rigged Shotugn on the inside. Disarm the traps and loot the room. Look on top of the oil drum to find The Shocker Power Fist. Also look under the bed to find a Medium-difficulty safe.

    • 6

Enjoy your new Power Fists! Note that the Fisto! does more damage against everyday targets while The Shocker does extra damage against robots and turrets.

Tips & Warnings

  • Complete the Tenpenny Tower quest line to receive a Ghoul Mask. This can be used to keep Feral Ghouls (like the ones in the power station) from attacking you, provided you do not attack them.

  • The Shocker does extra damage against robots and turrets.

  • Enter the Flooded Metro from Mason Square. This puts you closer to The Shocker.
