Used cheap laptops are easy to come by, but how do get the best deal? Used laptops can either be previously owned or refurbished and can be purchased through a number of different methods. The following article will define ways to get used cheap laptops.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The internet is a great place to get cheap laptop computers. You can buy them used on sites like eBay and Amazon. You can also use online classifieds such as Craigslist to find them. The best way to get laptop computers online is through an electronics store which offers a warrantee on the merchandise. Often laptop computers do not last when you buy them online so it is best to secure your investment.

  2. Step 2

Swap meets and garage sales can be a good place to get a great deal on used laptop computers. This is because someone may have upgraded to a better one and wants to get rid of the old one. The only down side is you don’t get a warranty but you can get a really good deal which may make it worth it for you.

  3. Step 3

Classifieds and other local publications often have free community advertisements so you can usually find a really good deal here. Like the swap meets and garage sales, you aren’t likely to get a warranty, but you may get a really great deal which could make it worth it.

  4. Step 4

Look for rebuilt laptop computers. These are either used ones or factory defects which have been rebuilt to work like new. They are often sold in major electronic stores or online. There are also private businesses that function by purchasing broken laptops, rebuilding them and reselling them. These can be a great option for used cheap laptops because they often do offer a warranty.
