Make a Christmas Photo Card

Christmas is a great time to send holiday greeting cards including pictures! This article will illustrate how to make photo cards.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Camera
  • Computer Access
  1. Step 1

The first step is to choose a few desired pictures that you would like to incorporate on to the photo card. Make sure to save photos to one folder and title accordingly.

  2. Step 2

Then go to www.walgreens.com. You will want to click on "make a photo card". The website will ask you to choose a background design. Usually the design already states a greeting like "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays".

  3. Step 3

Once you click your background of choice, the website will ask you to upload your pictures. Click browse and find your picture folder. Choose one or two photos to upload. You may want two pictures to choose from. After you have uploaded your pictures, they should appear at the right side of your computer screen. Click on the picture and drag it to the appropriate space located on the card. The photo will automatically conform to the space provided.

  4. Step 4

If you what to add text to your photo card, click below the photo and a text box will appear. Most people state their names in these box. For example; Love, Bill, Kate, and Megan Brown. Make sure to use the spell check provided for your card. Then if you are satisfied with how the card looks, continue on to choose a local Walgreen's location to pick up photos. At this point the website should tell you what the total price is and when the photo cards will be ready. For a pack of 20 photos, the price is $9.99. This price includes the envelopes.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure to preview your photo card before sending them to be developed. You may want to reduce or enlarge the size of your text front.
