Wrapped Gift

Everyone uses toilet paper and paper towel. Recycle the tubes and use them to wrap Christmas gifts. It's an easy inexpensive way to wrap hard to wrap gifts for Christmas, Birthdays or another Holiday. Here's what you do:

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Christmas wrapping paper
  • Christmas curling ribbon
  • Tape
  • Toilet paper and Paper towel tubes
  • Your gift
  1. Step 1

Ok what do you have to wrap for Christmas this year. Are you giving candy, perfume, jewelry or even bath beads? Knowing what you are wrapping will tell you if you need the tube from toilet paper or paper towel tube.

  2. Step 2

Now that you've determined what you are wrapping, cut your Christmas paper to extend past a 1 1/2 inch to 2 inch past the tube on both ends.

  3. Step 3

Crinkle up old newspaper and stuff it in one end. This will keep the gifts from falling out.

  4. Step 4

Put your gift in. I am demonstrating with Perfume. Crinkle more newspaper and stuff the other end. Wrap it up and put Christmas ribbon on the ends to tie it up. Take scissors and run along the edge and curl the ribbon.

  5. Step 5

See you've got a nicely wrapped Christmas gift and no one will know what it is. It's a good way to recycle and wrap gifts.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use this same method for birthdays, Father's day or Mother's day.
  • Save the tubes from your Christmas wrapping paper to use during the year.
