How to Pack for a Kid's Sleepover
Letting your child go away for a sleepover can be nerve-wracking whether it's their first time or their fiftieth time. Making sure that they have everything they will need is usually always something that parents tend to worry about. Over packing may be an embarrassment to your child, especially when they have everything except the kitchen sink in their bags for everyone to see. There are ways that you can pack responsibly for your child without causing him/her to be the laughing stock.

1
Call the parents of the child who is having the sleepover and let them know your phone number in case of an emergency. Also, let them know of any medicines that your child is prescribed, what they are and when he/she needs them. Ask the parent to get the medicine from the child when he/she arrives.
-
2
Pack your child's clothing and pajamas in a small duffle bag or a back pack.
-
-
3
Put any medicines that your child is prescribed into a plastic bag with instructions on when your child needs the medicine and any other instructions (if he needs to take it with food, water, etc.).
-
4
Wrap your child's pillow inside of the sleeping bag when you roll it up.
-
5
Pack essential toiletry items: toothbrush, toothpaste and shampoo/conditioner.
-
6
Depending on the age of your child, or if your child is a bedwetter, pack a change of pajamas and a couple of pull-ups discreetly in the bag.
-
7
Give the child your phone number (if he/she does not have it memorized), in case he/she needs to contact you for anything.
