Things You'll Need:
- 2 to 3 lbs. skirt steak
- 1 glass pyrex dish
- 4 lemons
- 4 limes
- garlic salt / Garlic powder
- 1 onion
- salt and pepper
- 2 Tbsp ketchup

Step 1
Shop for all items on the grocery list. You can purchase
Skirt Steak from your local supermarket or Butcher. Sometimes if I can't find Skirt Steak, Flat Meat
is another good option. The package will look like there is a small piece of meat in it, but once you open it up, the meat will unfold into a large piece. -
Step 2
Place the meat in a glass Pyrex dish. Squeeze the juice of 4 limes and 4 lemons
over the meat into the glass dish. -
Step 3
Shake a small amount of garlic salt and garlic
powder on both sides of the meat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. -
Step 4
Cut the onion into small thin strips. set aside

Step 5
take a small brush and squeeze 2 tbsp. ketchup
over the top of the meat. Use a meat brush and brush
the ketchup over the meat. Make sure to do both sides
of the meat. -
Step 6
Let marinate over night if possible. If you don't have time for that,
try to let it sit at least 2 hours. -
Step 7
BBQ the meat on both sides over hot flames for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until there are char marks.
