Katakana (Part 3)Open the graphic (if it is blurry, you may want to open it in a new window or you may want to save it in your computer and open it). The first five letters start with "n" sound. ナ is "na", ニ is "ni" and ネ is "ne". ヌ is "nu" as in "numeral". ノ is "no" but "o" part is not as strong as "no" as in "yes/no". "o" part of ノ is pronounced like "o" in "course". As in Part 1 and Part 2, the blue lines in the picture show the stroke orders.

Step 3
The second five letters start with "h" sound. ハ is "ha". ヒ is "hi" as in "hill". フ is "hu" which is pronounced like "who" as in "Who are you?". ヘ is "he" as in "hen". ホ is "ho" as in "hop".
