Instructions on how to make a Blackberry Wine Cake.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix
  • Jello Vanilla Instant Pudding
  • 4 Eggs
  • Cooking Oil
  • Blackberry Wine
  • Black Walnut Pieces
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Butter
  • Bundt Pan
  • Mixer
  1. Step 1

    1. Heat Oven at 325 degrees.
    2. In a Large Mixing Bowl combine the cake mix, the Jello Instant Pudding, add 4 eggs, and 1/2 cup of cooking oil, and 1 cup Blackberry Wine. Mix well.
    3. Grease and Flour your Bundt Pan and pour mixture.
    4. Bake for 45-50 minutes. This time will vary based on your oven.

  2. Step 2

While your cake is baking you can begin to make the glaze.
In a sauce pan you will need 1 cup of powdered sugar, 1/2 cup of butter, and 1/2 cup of blackberry wine. Bring this to a boil, stirring until glaze is thin.

  3. Step 3

Some people pour part of the mixture over the cake before they remove it from the bundt pan. I usually take out and allow to cool. Remove from bundt pan and pour glaze over cake. If your glaze is to thin continue to add powdered sugar until the right consistency.
