Step 1
Buy Christmas wrapping paper right after the Christmas season. It is going to be a lot cheaper because retailers might have over estimated how much would be bought by consumers.
-
Step 2
If you're really trying to save money, keep your wrapping paper from gifts you received. Take the paper off carefully, fold it, take off scotch tape, and store it away for the following year.
-
Step 3
Use old gift bags from gifts you have received.
-
Step 4
Save the comics section and use that as wrapping paper.
-
Step 5
Use the picture part of your calendar from the year before to wrap smaller gifts.
-
Step 6
Use old paper grocery bags and use them as wrapping paper. You can jazz it up with some stamps, ribbons, and bows.
-
Step 7
Use clothes that aren't suitable for donation (clothes with holes, rips, etc) and wrap gifts with those. A few cloth ribbons later, you have a beautifully wrapped gift!
