Ever get a craving for oatmeal cookies but have to resist because you're on a diet? Try this yummy breakfast of Oatmeal Cookie Oatmeal and watch that craving go away right along with any extra pounds you might need to shed!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/3 cup old-fashioned oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Splenda or sugar to taste
  • Walnuts
  1. Step 1

Get out a bowl that is twice the size of the ingredients that you are going to put in it. Measure a heaping 1/3 cup of oatmeal into the bowl. Add the applesauce, cinnamon and water. Stir. Microwave the Oatmeal Cookie Oatmeal for four minutes.

  2. Step 2

Take the Oatmeal Cookie Oatmeal out of the microwave. Be careful--it's super hot! Stir it up again and add some chopped walnuts and sweetner to taste. I use three Splendas because I have an enormous sweet tooth! You'll be amazed...this recipe tastes exactly like an oatmeal cookie!

  3. Step 3

If you like your cookies with milk, don't hesitate to put some cream or milk on your Oatmeal Cookie Oatmeal. Enjoy, and if you don't add real sugar, this recipe will only cost you about 200 calories! It makes a great snack!

Tips & Warnings
  • Definitely give the Oatmeal Cookie Oatmeal to your kids. They'll love it because it tastes so much better than that instant stuff. It's way healthier, too!
  • You'll get hooked on having this for breakfast because it's so easy and yummy!
  • If you add real sugar and cream, count on the calorie count increasing by up to 150 calories!
