How to Get Your Girlfriend to Leave You Because of Your Holiday Gift

There are so many people who tell you exactly what to get your girlfriend for the holidays. The better question is what NOT to get your girlfriend. I'm going to tell you a few things not to get your girlfriend if you want to keep her.

1. 

   Get your wife or girlfriend a household appliance like a vacuum, blender, etc. if you want her to leave. When you get gifts like this, it's telling your lady that you want her to do more for you. She will not like this. Wake up! It's not the 1950s anymore.

2. 

   Get your lady something you really meant to get yourself, like a power tool or season tickets to a sport that you know she doesn't like. She'll just be rolling her eyes at you for this one.

3. 

   Get your lady clothes that are too big and she'll think you're thinking she's fat. If the clothes are too small, she'll think she's fat. So, if you get clothes and they're not the right size, your lady will not be pleased.

4. 

   Don't get your girlfriend any jewelry unless you want to get her thinking about marriage. If you're not married or engaged already, I would steer clear from anything that could be a reminder of the fact you're not married. This will cause problems.

5. 

   Depending on how long you've been dating, it's best to stay away from lingerie. Sometimes your lady will get mad about this thinking this fall under the category of gifts for you.

Tips & Warnings

• DO get her gift certificates to her favorite hair and nail salon or massage therapy clinic.
• DO get her things you know she has mentioned that she likes throughout the year.
• Think about any possible reaction before you get the gift.
