Plan A American Idol Theme Party

Who wants to be a singer. Contestants come on down and audition at the American Idol Theme Party. Set the stage, dim the lights and give them a mic.

Let your friends and family show off their secret talents that normally can only be heard in the shower. They may not win a contract, but just imagine how much fun they will have pretending.

Here is what you will need to get this party going.

Step 1

Invite your guest with music to their ears. Not only is evite.com invitations free, they have selections with music and you also have the option to create your own. What better way to get your party guest in the mood for auditions than to send an invitation with a fun tune.
Step 2

Finger foods are always a hit, hot wing, salads, chips and dips. Drinks of your choice, whether it's wine,cocktails,beer,or water. Eat, drink and be marry, but you may find, depending on the cocktails how much more merrier the idols become.
Step 3

Select the best judges for the part of Simon, Randy and Paula. I'm sure everyone has at least one friend that tells it like it is for the part of Simon, 70's and 80's feel of Randy and of course a Diva like Paula. Have a table and chairs for your judges.
Step 4

Rent a Karaoke machine. Select the music perfect for your idols ready to audition. Make ballots for your audience to vote. Let your idols auditions and select your twelve finalist.
Step 5

Award your winners with a prize. Gift cards, CD's or DVD's. Give your winners a memory keeper. Make sure someone has a video camera. This party can create memories to last a life time.
