Things You'll Need:
- Determination
- Love
- Energy
-
Step 1
Set up a time for planning and have a schedule for yourself. Write them down and keep the appointments. When you have a schedule to follow, you'll be motivated and get a sense of accomplishment upon finishing a task.
-
Step 2
Set a budget and stick with it. There are many ways to make a holiday special without breaking your bank. Show people that they are loved. You can simply let someone know what is special about them in a letter, card or video. Make it fun without spend big money.
-
Step 3
Do what you enjoy, not from obligation. When you are doing what you love life is better. If you are in a dreading situation, try some ways to tweak in a way that would bring you more happiness. Know and decide what you can tolerate; set rules and boundaries. If you said "no" and someone still keeps asking, then they are trying to control you. You have to educating others on how they can treat you.
-
Step 4
Simplify your life. Eliminate things that don't serve you; organize and clean the space you live in. Throw out, recycle or donate things you saved but are never used. Housekeeping and holiday decorating can be a family project, you don't have to work alone. Ask everyone to bring a dish instead of you doing all the cooking. Just remember to get your family involved and remember.
-
Step 5
Take action and finish what you must do. Once you complete your tasks, you can relax, smile, and enjoy the holidays.
