How to Place a Land Mark on a Note Card in "Second Life"

Do you need to organize your "Second Life" Land Marks inside your inventory? Do you want to let your "Second Life" friends in on the best places to visit in "Second Life"? Do you need to send out information in "Second Life" with Land Marks on them? The best way to achieve this is by placing a Land Mark on a note card.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Log into you "Second Life" account with your avatar's first name, last name and your password.

  2. Step 2
     

    Wait until you have completely re-energized and teleported to a place in "Second Life."

  3. Step 3
     

    Retrieve the Land Mark for the places you visits and save them to your inventory

  4. Step 4

    Click on your "Inventory" to open your inventory list. Scroll through your list until you find your "Notecards" yellow file folder.

  5. Step 5

    Left click on your "Notecard" yellow file folder to open the drop-down list. Left click on "New Note" to open a new note card. Both your Inventory and New Note card will be on your computer screen.

  6. Step 6

    Scroll through your inventory until you find the Land Mark you want to place on the note card.

  7. Step 7

    Left-click once on the Land Mark thumbtack, drag the Land Mark to your note card and release your mouse. Your Land Mark will be placed on your note card. Click "Save" on the note card and close it. Your Inventory will still be on your computer screen.

  8. Step 8

    Click on "Recent Items" in your Inventory to find your new note card. Click on the black arrow next to the yellow "Notecards" file to reveal your new note card. Right-click on your new note card and rename it.
