How to Draw a UFO
UFOs have been at the forefront of pop culture for many years. You have seen them race across the sky in cartoons, video games and films. Will Smith battled UFOs in "Independence Day" and Mulder and Scully hunted down clues to the existence of UFOs on the classic TV series, "The X-Files." If you're a "believer," or just an artist, you may want to learn how to draw a UFO.

Begin by drawing the basic frame with a pencil. Draw a dome for the main portion of the UFO and a disc shape for the body of the UFO. Add lines coming out of the bottom of the UFO to show its tractor beam.

Draw a hapless person being captured by the UFO. Draw an oval for the head and a longer oval for the body. Add legs and arms with simple lines.

Add details to the UFO frame. Add circles on the dome for windows. Add another corresponding disc line under the body of the UFO. Inside the space created by the additional disc, add smaller circles for lights.

Create the details on the abducted human. Add a nose with a half circle and eyes with small circles with half circles over them. Create his shirt and pants around the frame of the body. Add fingers with small circles around the hand.

Ink the entire drawing. Let the ink dry and erase the pencil. now you have your own picture of a UFO.
