How to Get Rid of Water Spots on Car Upholstery
Water spots can appear on the upholstery of your car for a number of reasons. You may have left your car windows open during a rainstorm, or some water might have gotten into the vehicle during the car-washing process. Regardless of how the spots got there, you can remove them. Using a spot remover may actually make the problem worse, so you need to do a thorough cleaning of the upholstery.
Instructions

1
Vacuum the interior of your car to remove all dirt and debris.
-
2
Mix 1/4 cup of upholstery cleaner with warm water in a 1-gallon bucket.
-
-
3
Using your scrub brush, clean the car upholstery one section at a time with the solution. Agitate the mixture so it foams up. Dip the scrub brush in the foam and work in a circular motion. Allow the foam from the shampoo to penetrate the upholstery.
-
4
Allow the foam to sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Then wipe up the remainder with a dry towel.
-
5
Fill a second 1-gallon bucket with warm water and dip your towel in it. Wet down the upholstery with the damp towel. Take your time; you want to rinse off all of the soap solution, but you don't want to over-saturate your upholstery.
-
6
Dry-vacuum your upholstery to remove as much of the water as possible. Dab the upholstery dry with a towel.
-
7
Allow your vehicle to dry overnight. If possible, leave it in a garage with the windows open .
