    Instructions

    Things You'll Need

    • Paper
    • Pencil
    • Black ink pen
    • Kneaded eraser
      • 1

Draw the basic building blocks for the battle axe. Draw a rectangle for the head of the axe. Add the blades with circle sections, as in the drawing here. Add a line on top of the rectangle for a spike. Draw the handle with two parallel lines connecting to the base of the axe head. Add a small circle on the bottom of the shaft.

      • 2

Add two small rectangles inside the axe. Add a triangle on top of the spike guideline. Add fur under the axe head with jagged lines.

      • 3

Draw parallel circular lines inside the blade of each axe. Draw an "x" shape inside each rectangle on the axe. Add another long rectangle between the two rectangular shapes. Draw the padding on the handle with a perpendicular line near the middle and bottom of the handle.

      • 4

Create details on the battle axe. Add lines in the middle going horizontally and diagonally. Add crisscrossing diagonal lines on the padding of the handle.

      • 5

Erase the guidelines. Add holes to the axe head by selectively erasing the "x" guidelines. Ink the entire drawing. Let the ink dry. Erase all the pencil. Now you have your own dangerous battle axe. Use it as a weapon for your favorite drawn hero and let him loose upon his foes.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Let the ink dry before erasing the pencil to keep the drawing from smudging.
