Instructions

    • 1

Place a glue dot at the bottom of your clean, empty glass jar.

    • 2

Stick the new wick to the glue dot in order to secure it in place.

    • 3

Melt all of the wax out of your old candle jars using a wax melter. If you do not have a wax melter, you can scrape out all of the excess wax and place it into a pot on the stove on medium high heat until it is melted.

    • 4

Drop a few drops of your fragrance oil into the wax as it is melting.

    • 5

Pour the melted wax into the new candle jar while holding the wick centered and vertical (so that it does not sink down into the wax or end up off center) until your jar is full of wax up to about an inch from the top .

    • 6

Let the wax settle and harden.

    • 7

      Trim the wick.

Tips & Warnings

  • You may keep the old jars in order to create new candles later on.

  • Never leave a lit candle unattended. Be very careful when working with a stove or fire of any kind. Do NOT place a glass jar directly in a pot. This can cause the jar to break unexpectedly. Melted wax WILL be very hot. Handle with care.
