How to Set IE as Your Default Browser
For Windows users, Internet Explorer is the default browser that comes installed on your PC. But there are others that you can download and use including Firefox, Opera and Chrome. When you have multiple Internet browsers, you can purposely or sometimes accidentally change which browser you use for your default browsing. Occasionally, you may want to go back to using Internet Explorer as your default browser.

Click "Tools" on the top menu bar.

Click on "Internet Options."

Click on the "Program" tab.

Click the button at the top that says "Make Default."

Check the box where it says "Tell me if Internet Explorer is not the default web browser." This will let you know whenever another Web browser is made the default browser.
