A wonderful way to visit with friends and celebrate is to hold a cookie exchange. A cookie exchange is a party that requires each guest to bring cookies that they baked personally. Everyone shares their cookies and exchanges the recipes.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Send out invitations at least two weeks in advance to give your guests advanced notice. Make sure that the invitation explains the number of cookies they need to bring and how many copies of their recipe. It is a good idea to encourage the guests to bring extra cookies in case someone takes to many.

  2. Step 2

When all the guests arrive, sit in a circle and go around the room letting each guest tell what cookie they brought.

  3. Step 3

It is a food idea to have containers for your quests to collect cookies in to take home. Make sure that everyone has the opportunity to try all the cookies.

  4. Step 4

Coffee and punch are a great addition to a cookie exchange!
