Saving money is important these days. This article will give you a few ideas on how to shop for clothes, shoes and accessories without spending a ton of money. Happy shopping!!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Set a limit of how much you will spend on certain items. For example, $7 is the most I will spend on a t-shirt or tank top, $15 on sweaters $25 on jeans and $10 to $25 on shoes depending on the type.

  2. Step 2

When you get into a store, go straight for the sale/clearance rack. I find the best quality and cutest clothes at Gap, Old Navy, Department Stores and shoe warehouses like DSW. I just got a really cute pair of Rocket Dog slip ons for $10. You can find great purses and shoes at TJ Max and Ross, but unless you have alot of time, I wouldn't bother looking at their clothes racks.

  3. Step 3

Keep it simple. Look for clothes and accessories that go together and could possibly be layered when the weather changes. Also, pick clothes that are in style, but not too trendy. This step will keep you from feeling the need to buy a whole new wardrobe every season.

  4. Step 4

Lastly, keep your closet clutter free by cleaning it out every 6 months or so. Get rid of things that you haven't used in the last six months. This will not only help keep your closet clean and organized, but it will help you know exactly what you need when you shop.
