Things You'll Need:
- Mineral eyeshadow in three complimentary shades.
- Eyeshadow brush
- Primer of your choice
-
Step 1
The first thing to do is wash and prime your skin for makeup application. Rinse away any oil and dirt and dry your skin before applying the primer to your eye lids and just under the arch of your eye brow. If you don't have primer, a small amount of Vaseline will help the color last longer. Be careful not to use too much.
-
Step 2
Swirl your eyeshadow brush in the lid of your base color and gently dab all over your eyelid. For bold color, add a drop of water to your brush before swirling in the minerals. This will create a foiled effect once applied.
-
Step 3
Wipe the brush with a tissue and swirl in the lid of a darker, complimentary color for the crease of your eyes. Starting at the outside corner of your eye, gently sweep back and forth into the crease of your eyelid until slightly blended.
-
Step 4
Wipe the brush again and swirl in the lid of a lighter color to highlight the arch just underneath the brow. Dab the minerals on, applying more as necessary.
-
Step 5
Buff the brush in small circles to blend the shades together for a more natural look.
-
Step 6
Once you are satisfied with the application, finish off the look with eye liner and mascara.
